BLAKE, Iris Dawn, 69, of Belmont, Ohio died Friday, August 10, 2012 at Wheeling Hospital.
She was born September 22, 1942 in St. Clairsville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Virgil and Hannah Davis Rauschenberg.
Iris was a former employee of Belmont County Board of MRDD at Belco Crafts and attended Church Alive in Key, Ohio.
She loved and took special joy in her family and friends, including her extended family at Belco Crafts, she also loved bingo, quilting, crafts, and canning.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack L. Blake, Sr.; an infant son, Brian Blake; brothers and sisters, Audrey Thompson, Evelyn Norris, Leo "Bud" Rausenberg, and Virgil "Hoppy" Rauschenberg.
Surviving are her three sons, Jack (MJ) Blake, Jr. of Belmont, Curtis (Stephanie) Blake of Holloway, and Chad (Carmen) Blake of Belmont; brothers, Don Rauschenberg of Belmont, Randy Rauschenberg of St. Clairsville; a sister, Judy Dailey of Barnesville; grandchildren, Brad (Jesse) Blake of Mt. Pleasant, Krista (Ed) Blake Lantz of Fairpoint, Cody Blake of Centerville, Kaleb Blake of Belmont, Brian Blake of Belmont, Zane Blake of Centerville, Ryan "Tater" Blake of Belmont, Isaac Blake of Holloway, Samantha Blake of Holloway, and Derek Bandonee of Belmont; great- grandchildren, Austin, Jocelyn, Genesis, and Ashlynn.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. where services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jeff Lewis officiating.
Burial follows in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Bellaire, Ohio.
