HINKLE, Larry E., 72, of Barnesville, Ohio, died Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Barnesville Hospital.
He was born March 11, 1940 in Morristown, Ohio, son of the late Paul Albert Hinkle and Thelma "Betty" Jean Johnson Hinkle.
Larry had a deep love for his family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and sports. He was a member of the International Moose, the VFW of Barnesville #2792, the Fraternal Order of Eagles #4252, and the American Legion #0168.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marcia Hinkle; sister, Betty June Burghy Hamilton; brothers, William "Bill" Hinkle and Charles Lee Hinkle.
Larry is survived by his daughters, Suzie (Khaled) Awad and Penny (John) Kurtz; sons, Brian (Tracy) Hinkle and Kevin Hinkle; grandchildren, Chantee Gray, Jeremy and Vance Phillips, Lindsay and Tyler Kurtz, Branson Hinkle, Zach and Sarah Awad, and Troy Hinkle; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marlene (Everett Jr.) Cain, Pat (Robert) Groves, and Deanna (Steve) Anderson; and his special brother, Ronnie Calovini.
Friends may visit, Monday 4 p.m. until time of service at 6:30 p.m., Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 702 East Main St., Barnesville, Ohio, with Pastor Edward Eberhart officiating.
The Fraternal Order Eagles #4252 will conduct services Monday at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
The family would especially like to thank the Barnesville and Bethesda EMTs, Pastor Ted Buehl, and all those who assisted with the care of Mr. Hinkle.
