BLOOM, William Thomas, 77, loving husband, dad, grandpa, brother and uncle, of Jefferson Street in Upland Heights, Rayland, OH, died Monday, August 27, 2012 at home.
Born June 8, 1935 in Tiltonsville, OH, he was the son of the late Carl and Virginia Jackson Bloom.
He was a retired employee of the Wheeling- Pittsburgh Steel Corp. Yorkville Plant with 40 years of service. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army; and a member of the Tiltonsville United Methodist Church. He enjoyed morning coffee with friends at Paradise Hills Gulf Course.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Fred and Jack; and two sisters, Joyce and Jenny.
Surviving are: a devoted wife of 57 years, Sally "Irene" Sipich Bloom; son, Carl "Tex" (Nicole) Bloom; daughter, Barbara (James) Piazza; brother, Louis Jackson; sister, Geraldine (Ernie) Reeves; six grandchildren, Jared, Coltin, Nathan, James, Salley and Logan.
Private services and entombment are set for Holly Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum, Pleasant Grove, OH, at the convenience of the family with the Rev. Dan Holt officiating.
