KRAHEL, James "Hosie" M., 69, of Bethesda, OH, passed Monday August 27, 2012 at Wheeling Hospital.
He was born in Martins Ferry, OH on December 5, 1942, a son of the late John Joseph and Rose Virginia Hose Krahel.
He was a retired truck driver, a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a Catholic.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Kyanko.
James is survived by two daughters: Kerri Krahel of Shadyside, Kassie Coffield (Denny) of Moundsville, WV; a son Kevin Krahel of Columbus, OH; three sisters: Paula Bowman (Ed) of Martins Ferry, Rosalee Stidd (Tom), and Jonetta Regoli (Dave) all of Bridgeport; the mother of his children Mary "Peach" Krahel; five grandchildren: Stivi, Dallas, Dalton, Elias Mackenzie; and four great- grandchildren: Katelynn, Mia, Preston, and Addison.
Friends will be received Thursday 6-8 p.m. and also on Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, OH, where Military Honors will be provided by the VFW Belmont County Honor Guard at 9:15 a.m. Saturday.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Bridgeport, with Rev. John Mucha as celebrant. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
