Union Local found itself on the brink of losing Monday evening, but rallied to win the final two games and take the match against homestanding Barnesville.
The Lady Jets won by scores of 17-25, 25-13, 19-25, 25-23 and 15-13.
Union Local was led on the stat sheet by Kaylie Cole's 11 points, two aces, 24 digs and three kills. Shayla Otto added 16 digs, 14 kills, 14 blocks and five assists. Carly Schafer stuffed the stat sheet to a tune of 18 points, five aces, 25 digs, 26 assists, five kills and seven blocks. Sarah Sheppard added seven points, three aces, nine digs, seven kills and nine blocks. Mikayla Patton finished with 12 kills, eight blocks, seven aces and three digs. Megan Nagy had six points, 17 digs, two assists and two kills.
Barnesville, meanwhile was led on the stat sheet by Paige Gibbons' seven points, 10 kills, 11 assists and 28 digs. Paige Huntsman had 11 points, 14 assists and 14 digs. Kelsey Douglas had eight points, 10 kills, two blocks and two digs.
Indian Creek sweeps Bellaire
Indian Creek made quick work of invading Bellaire Monday evening in girls' volleyball action. The Lady Redskins posted a sweep by scores of 25-13, 25-6 and 25-13.
Jessica Furda led the Lady Redskins with 20 assists, five aces, eight digs and two kills. Brey Mays had three aces, five kills, seven digs and a block. Bre Berryman had eight kills.
Bellaire was led by Lindsey McMahon's seven points and two aces. Taylar Canter had five points, 10 digs and an ace.
St. Clairsville swept by Edison
AT RICHMOND, Edison swept its way past invading St. Clairsville, 25-18, 26-24 and 25-14.
The Lady Wildcats were led by Caitlin Brenstuhl who had 23 assists, seven points, two aces and three kills. Cassady Jarvis had eight points, an ace, five kills and four blocks.
St. Clairsville was led by Brigee Mick's five digs and seven kills. Gabbie Espen had eight points, two aces, two digs and 17 assists. Summer Gallentine had six points, while Alexis St. Clair added five digs, seven kills and two blocks.
Buckeye Local def. Wheeling Park
AT CONNORVILLE, Buckeye Local rallied from a game down to knock off Wheeling Park in four, 21-25, 25-12, 25-21 and 25-19.
Becca Rector had a strong game for the Lady Panthers with nine kills, 12 assists, two aces. Kayla Fillopovich added four aces, six kills and a block. Kaylee DeCesare had nine digs and Morgan Staten had seven kills.

St. John topples Beallsville in Four
St. John Central needed four games before it posted a victory against homestanding Beallsville Monday evening.
The Lady Irish prevailed by scores of 25-21, 25-15, 25-14 and 25-22.
St. John was led on the stat sheet by Kaydie Coppa's nine points, 15 assists, five kills and four digs. Kaitlyn Sliva added 14 points, three aces, two assists and 11 kills. Kristen Russell donated 16 assists, five klls and two digs.
Beallsville, meanwhile, was led by Madison Stephen who had eight kills, three assists, two blocks, four digs, five aces and 21 points.
