Fans attending Martins Ferry home football games are reminded that East Ohio Regional Hospital is assisting the Purple Rider Boosters Club by making room available for parking.
The sale of the city's property along the river has taken away much of the Booster Club's parking area. The East Ohio Regional Hospital graciously offered their northern parking lot, next to the Walnut Grove Cemetery and the walk bridge as well as some other designated areas.
EORH is making the spaces available from 5-11 p.m. Proceeds from the parking will be used to help Purple Rider projects aiding youth. Booster officials point out parking is also available at the stadium behind the home grandstand and the visitors' bleachers.
