Football

BARNESVILLE

KYLE YAQUINTA-Passed for 160 yards and two touchdowns, while also running 13 times for 52 yards and two more scores.

BRANDON BURKHART-Recorded six unassisted tackles, five assists and a quarterback sack. Offensively, he caught four passes for 49 yards and ran once for three yards.

DAVID BROWN-Kicked seven extra-points, which set a school single-game record. He also had two quarterback sacks.

BEALLSVILLE

BRUCE SEFERT-Scored two touchdowns on nine carries while gaining 34 yards. Defensively, he recorded 3 solo tackles, two assists and two quarterback sacks.

TERYN JARRETT-Completed 23 of 36 passes (64 percent) for 290 yards and two touchdowns.

MASON CAMPBELL-Charted seven assisted tackles, a solo stop and a sack. Kicked a trio of PATs and kicked off seven times for a 32.3 average.

DALTON SECREST-Offensively, he graded out at 95 percent on his blocking. Defensively, he led the Blue Devils with 16 tackles, 10 assisted, four solo and two sacks. He also recovered a fumble.

COLE SUSAC-Blocked at a 90 percent clip while charting eight total tackles, with one being a sack.

BRIDGEPORT

PATRICK BRITTON-Recorded 14 tackles for the Bulldogs.

BUCKEYE TRAIL

C.J. BEAVER. Led Buckeye Trail last week as he scored a touchdown three different ways. He caught three touchdown passes (15, 20, 30), returned a punt 63 yards and ran back an interception 76 yards.

MARTINS FERRY

BRANDON LAUGHMAN-Carried the ball 16 times for 113 yards and a touchdown.

MARCUS SUTTON-Lugged the leather 18 times for 139 yards and a TD. He three tackles on defense.

MONROE CENTRAL

JAKE SCHUMACHER-Led the Seminoles with 14 tackles.

MIKE JONES-Charted 12 tackles, including behind the line of scrimmage.

CAMDEN HILL-Charted 11 tackles, with 1 being for lost yardage.

RIVER

NICK ASTURI-Scored touchdowns three different ways as he ran for six points, caught a 77-yard touchdown pass and returned a kickoff 82 yards. Defensively, he charted six solo tackles, and five assists, with one being for minus yardage.

JONATHAN STEWART-Recorded six solo tackles and assisted on eight others, with two coming behind the line of scrimmage.

KAMERON BROWN-Caught four passes for 51 yards and made 12 tackles, six solo and one for minus yardage.

JORDAN SAPP-Blocked a field goal, and made 12 tackles, four solo stops and eight assists. One stop for behind the line of scrimmage.

BRANDON REUSSER-Had five tackles, one for minus yardage, and a quarterback sack.

COLTON WRIGHT-Kicked a game-winning 34-yard field goal as time expired.

SHADYSIDE

CODY HUDSON-Caught two passes for 32 yards and a touchdown, while kicking two extra-points and a 33-yard field goal. Defensively, he had four tackles and a deflected pass.

BROOKS RAMSEY-Carried the ball 17 times for 89 yards.

ALEX QUINN-Charted seven tackles, with two for minus yardage.

CHRIS LITTELL-Ran the ball six times for 16 yards and a TD. Defensively, recorded seven tackles.

JAKE DUVALL -Was in on seven tackles, with one being behind the line of scrimmage.

ST. CLAIRSVILLE

JAYLON BROWN-Scored three touchdowns and ran for 213 yards on just 14 carries.

JERRID MARHEFKA-Caught three passes for 57 yards and a touchdown. Defensively, he broke up a pair of passes.

COLE STEPHEN-Graded out at 96 percent at center. Had seven total tackles as a linebacker.

DAN MONTEROSO-Caught three passes for 59 yards and picked off two passes, running one back 70 yards for a touchdown. Had seven tackles, five of which were solo stops.

DEREK SHUNK-Had 11 total tackles, with one being for lost yardage. Also had a quarterback sack.

ST. JOHN CENTRAL

D.J. SHOEMAKER-Completed 16 of 30 passes for 260 yards and a touchdown, while also running for a pair of scores and 35 yards on 18 carries. Defensively, he charted 15 tackles and recorded a quarterback sack.

ALEX FRANCIS-Caught seven passes for 120 yards and a touchdown.

UNION LOCAL

TRAVIS JAMES-Had 11 solo tackles, three assists, a quarterback sack, three tackles for minus yardage and an interception.

KALEB McDIFFITT-Charted 10 solo stops and four assists.

Volleyball

ST. CLAIRSVILLE

BRIGEE MICK-In three matches last week she scored 23 points, seven of which were aces. She also made 21 digs, had a serve receive accuracy of 97%, posted 19 kills and averaged three blocks per match.
