September 27, 2012

BELMONT COUNTY Commissioners recognized October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Domestic violence is an ongoing problem in the county. In 2012, more than 500 primary victims received services from Tri-County Help Center Inc., and 78 victims and their children were provided with 594 nights of emergency safe shelter. All citizens are urged to participate in the activities planned by Tri-County Help Center, Inc., and community organizations during the month.
