Athlete of the Week Honor Roll

FOOTBALL

Beallsville

GAGE STEELE. Carried the ball seven times for 144 yards and two touchdowns, while also catching two passes for 47 yards and another six-pointer. He ran for two points. Defensively, he had three assisted tackles and one tackle for minus yardage. He also punted once for 34 yards, all of this coming in a half before he was injured.

KYLE GROVES. Had eight tackles, three of which were behind the line of scrimmage and two were solo stops. He also returned an interception 34 yards for a touchdown.

MASON CAMPBELL. Was 5-for-5 on PAT kicks and punted twice for a 19.5 yard average. Also charted five tackles on defense.

Bellaire

NICK PATRONE. Caught six passes for 100 yards and a touchdown. Also picked off a pass and returned it 42 yards to set up a score. Charted three solo tackles.

LOGAN KOSHENKA. Returned a fumble 29 yards for a touchdown while also recording six solo tackles, two of which were for minus yardage.

KENNY HESS. Landed four passes for 111 yards and two touchdowns. Also registered four tackles, one for lost yardage.

Bridgeport

DALLAS FIELDS. Ran the ball 20 times for 168 yards and a touchdown. Caught a 36-yard touchdown pass.

PATRICK BRITTON. Recorded 14 tackles.

Martins Ferry

MARCUS SUTTON. Lugged the leather 18 times for 141 yards and a touchdown. Defensively, had eight tackles.

CODY SCHAU. Snagged five catches for 70 yards and a touchdown. Collected five tackles and intercepted a pass on defense.

BRUCE BURGER. Charted six tackles, recovered a fumble and intercepted a pass.

Monroe Central

KOREY LAFFERRE. Ran 14 times for 136 yards and three touchdowns, while also completing 2 of 8 passes for 23 yards and another six-pointer. He also recorded 4 tackles.

JOSH GUILER. Kicked six extra points and made 10 tackles, which included 1 quarterback sacks and 1 tackles behind the line of scrimmage.

CHASE CAROTHERS. Toted the ball 12 times for 111 yards and two scores.

River

NICK ASTURI. Gained 161 yards and scored a TD on 14 carries. Made four solo tackles, one for lost yardage, and assisted on another. Also picked off two passes and defended another.

DAKOTA DUNN. Had 10 tackles, five of which were of the solo variety. Logged two stops behind the line of scrimmage.

EVAN EGGLESTON. Charted seven tackles, three solo and one for minus yards.

KAMERON BROWN. Caught four passes for 93 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Also picked off a pass.

BRYCE CROSS. Landed three receptions for 72 yards and a TD. Charted five solo tackles and three assists defensively.

St. Clairsville

MATT KINNICK. Completed 8 of 13 passes for 225 yards and three touchdowns. Also ran the ball six times for 37 yards and another score.

JAYLON BROWN. Ran the ball 10 times and picked up 155 yards and scored twice. Caught two passes for 69 stripes and another TD.

COLE STEPHEN. Graded out at 90 percent from center. Was in on 12 tackles.

BEN COLEMAN. Charted 11 tackles, with two for lost yardage. Recovered a fumble.

COLBY LINDSAY. Recorded 13 tackles, hurried the quarterback once and recovered a fumble.

Union Local

KALEB McDIFFITT. Hauled in five catches for 108 yards and two touchdowns.
