POSOCK, Mario L., 68, of St. Clairsville, OH, died Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at home.
He was born January 15, 1944 in Barton, OH, son of the late Bruno Posock and Doris Canter Posock Traylinek.
Mario was retired from Lash Paving and Tri-State Asphalt. He was the former owner and operator of Mario's Tavern in Crescent. He served in the U. S. Army; he was a member of the American Legion Post 159 in St. Clairsville; the Bridgeport Foresters Club; an honorary member of Barton V.F.D. and one of the original charter members of the Barton Cadet Corps.
Surviving are his daughters, Melissa (Steve) Freeman of St. Clairsville, and Joanna Lodi-Posock of Barton; three grandchildren, Daulton, Sydney and Payton Freeman; a sister, Joyce (Terry) Terwilliger of Chardon, OH; a brother, Robert "Bob" Posock of Cincinnati, OH; two nephews, Gary and Mark Terwilliger and his faithful feline companion, Snowball.
Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville for a memorial visitation on Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of Full Military Honor Services at 4 p.m. conducted by the Belmont County Council of American Legions.
