Pielech Benefit

November 10, 2012
Times Leader

Dear?Editor,

On Saturday,?Nov. 3 a wonderful event took place at the Indian Club in Tiltonsville. Family and friends of Gary came together to celebrate his life.

In addition to the spaghetti dinner, beautiful baskets and other items were raffled in order to generate money to help defray Gary's medical expenses. Even though Gary lost his battle with pancreatic cancer on Sunday, Oct. 28, he would have been elated to see so many of his friends and family came together to enjoy each others company. The "Goose" would have loved the camaraderie and sharing with so many of his friends.

We want to extend a big thank you to the following: the Indian Club and its staff for permitting us to hold Gary's event at their establishment. The Indian Club has, is, and always will be the hub of our communities. The many people that worked so hard to make sure that Gary's event was an overwhelming success, including: Mary Nagler, Patty Chambers, Susan Dunfee, Joyce McCrea, Shelby & Kurt Hood, Cindy Dompa, Tom Cominsky, Chad Deters, Brian Nemeth, Carla Marple, Anna Marple, Elaine Hogan, Gail Bolock, Kay Swiger, Allison Fetty, Paige Palmer, Lynn Mazun, Ryan West and everyone who sold tickets, Jim Berze and the JFK Band, disc jockeys, John Blumenauer, John & Molly Orizczak.

We also want to thank the local merchants that contributed so much to the fundraiser as well as posting signs in their businesses.

Finally, we want to thank all of those that attended, donated or participated in any way. A good deed never goes unnoticed, especially one conveyed for the love of a dear friend.

Thank you all very much.

Sons, Jason,

Jeremy & family

Brothers, Joe, Jeff, Dwayne, Jon &

their families & Gary's

loving wife, Kim
