Santa Claus was the man of the hour during the Bridgeport?Christmas parade.

A couple of youngsters ride in a Bridgeport fire engine during the village’s Christmas parade?Sunday.

The Spirit of 76, voted best fire department in the Ohio Valley in both 2011 and 2012, took part in the Shadyside Christmas Parade Sunday. Pictured is one of the three trucks Spirit of 76 had in the parade.

Jefferson Elementary School students carry the banner for The National Blue Ribbon Award they received in November. Students marched with parents, teachers and Principal Cynthia Caldwell. Jefferson was only one out of 14 schools in Ohio to receive this award.
