BELLAIRE - A car flipped onto its top in front of the Indian Run Learning Center in the village just after 8 a.m. on Thursday.
The driver of the car, a female, had just filled up with gas at the Circle K and was dropping her two grandchildren off at the preschool. Both of her grandchildren were in buckled into car seats in the back seat, said Bellaire Police Chief Mike Kovalyk.
The preliminary investigation shows that the driver headed northbound and lost control, striking a tree stump at the edge of the sidewalk with the right side wheels going up on the tree stump causing the vehicle to roll over on its top.
