GROSS, Harriett A., 92, of Bellaire, OH, died Friday, December 14, 2012 in Heartland-Lansing Nursing Home, Bridgeport, OH.
She was born March 21, 1920 in Beallsville, OH, the daughter of the late Cleurney and Lydia Carpenter Reed.
She was a member of Bellaire Christian Church; and the former Order of Eastern Star #581, Shadyside, now Captina #489, Powhatan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Broderick L. Gross; and sisters, Vivian Gillespie, Mary McLaughlin, Martha Rossow, and Eva Decker.
Survivors include two sons, Reed (Joanne) Gross of Streetsboro, OH, and Richard Gross of Bellaire; two sisters, Shirley Headley, and Fern Ackerman, both of Woodsfield, OH, a brother, Edward Reed of Beallsville, OH; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Sunday from noon to 3 and 6-8 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home, 400 33rd Street, Bellaire where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m.
