Clyde was born August 7, 1918 in Bellaire, OH a son of the late Clyde R. and Sophia Morgan Mahaffee Sr.
He was a retired railroad Conductor at Conrail, a Christian by faith and a WWII Navy Veteran.
Preceding him in death was his wife Anita Davis Mahaffee, a daughter Judith Coulter, and several brothers and sisters.
Surviving are a son, Gary (Cheri) Mahaffee of Kitty Hawk, N.C.; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and 10 great great grandchildren.
In honoring Clyde's wishes there will be no visitation. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
