Debbie Kroner and Eric Brooks of Athens, Ohio, announce the engagement of their daughter, Katelyn Nicole, to Jay Saner, son of Jan and Joanne Saner of Powhatan Point.
The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Athens High School and a 2008 graduate of Ohio University. She is currently attending Ohio University for a master's in educational administration. She is employed as the multiple disability teacher for Nelsonville-York Elementary School.
Her fiance is a 1998 graduate of River High School and a 2003 graduate of Ohio University. He is also a 2005 graduate of Ohio University with a master's degree in educational technology. He is employed as the technology coordinator for Nelsonville-York City Schools.
