He was born September 8, 1935 in St. Clairsville, son of the late Roman and Mary Moroski Borovich.
Henry worked at Saginaw and Ireland mines, and he was a heavy equipment operator with I.U.O.E. Local #132. In this position Henry operated large cranes that helped build many of the buildings in the Wheeling and Pittsburgh area. He retired in 2000.
In addition to his parents and his wife, Elizabeth "Bootsie" Vanek Borovich, Henry was preceded in death by an infant son, George Henry Borovich; six sisters, Helen Clark, Pauline Kesterson, Sophia Ruble, Mary Trytko, Anna Ball and Frances Beckett; and his brother, Roman Borovich.
Surviving are his sons, David (Marsha) Borovich, Mark (Bonnie) Borovich; daughter, Robbin (Dave) Britton; grandchildren, Annie (Brett) Jochumsen and Adam Clark and great-granddaughter, Cadince Jochumsen and special four pawed buddy, "Cookie."
Henry is also survived by sisters, Sheila Hughes, Wanda Bunting, Mary Bumgardner and Jeanne Sayre; two brothers, John Borovich and Stanley Borovich; special niece, Barbara Jean Trytko and many other nieces and nephews.
Private services were held on Friday at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville with Rev. Laurie Armstrong officiating.
Burial was in Warnock Cemetery.
