KRISTEN RUSSELL, St. John Central - Senior standout totalled 33 points and 26 rebounds in two Lady Irish triumphs.
MARISSA ROSE, St. John Central - Freshman guard enjoyed two productive games, scoring 23 points against Bishop Donahue and adding 13 points and five assists against Caldwell. Both were Lady Irish wins.
KARLI BONAR, Shadyside - Senior standout averaged 23 points a game in a 3-0 week for the Lady Tigers. She had 25 points in a win against Union Local. She hit eight 3-point goals in a win against University.
HAYLEY HOLENKA, Shadyside - Senior averaged better than 15 points a game in a 3-0 week for the Lady Tigers. She had a high of 19 points in a win against University.
CASSIDY McCULLOUGH, River - Senior scored 19 points in a win against Caldwell last week.
JESSICA KINNEY, Martins Ferry -- Senior dandy poured in 22 points a game for the Lady Riders last week.
KIERSTYN KIDDER, Bellaire -- Sophomore point guard scored almost 20 points a game in two outings for the Lady Big Reds.
BOYS BASKETBALL
JACOB BAILEY, Union Local - Senior scored 32 points and went over the 1,000-point mark for his career in the process in a win against Bellaire. For the week, he averaged better than 20 points a game.
CODY CALDWELL, River - Senior scored 22 points in a win against Shadyside last week.
KENNY HESS, Bellaire - Junior scored 25 points in a loss to Union Local. For the week, he averaged better than 17 points a game.
CODY SCHAU, Martins Ferry - Senior scored 25 points and had 12 rebounds in a win against Buckeye Local last week.
TERYN JARRETT, Beallsville - Senior led the Blue Devils past Valley with 36 points, nine rebounds and nine assists.
WRESTLING
J.D. DOTSON, River - Senior won the River Invitational 220-pound title last weekend.
DAKOTA DUNN, River - Pilot 182-pounder won the title at the River Invitational.
COLLIN WILSON, Barnesville - Shamrock grappler won the 106-pound title at the River Invitational.
AUSTIN SINGLETON, Barnesville - This Shamrocks' 113 pounder was the champion at the River Invitational.
HOBIE HOWILER, Barnesville - Freshman dandy captured the 120-pound title at the River Invitational.
NICK MAFFE, Bellaire - Senior was the River Invitational champion at 160 pounds.
MYLIEK GREEN, Bellaire - Big Reds' 170 pound entrant was the River Invitational champion.
SWIMMING
MICHAEL EATON, St. Clairsville - Junior swimmer claimed two OVAC titles last weekend, winning the 100 breaststroke and 100 freestyle. He set meet records in both races.
CARLY FALCONE, St. Clairsville - Junior ace finished third in the OVAC 100 breaststroke last weekend.
KATIE ALBERT, East Richland Christian - Senior finished second in the 200 freestyle and third in the 50 freestyle.
