By ROBERT A. DEFRANK - Times Leader Staff Writer , Times Leader

ST. CLAIRSVILLE Robert William Green, 56, 52235 National Road, St. Clairsville, appeared on a status conference where his trial date was continued generally to allow for the sharing and examination of evidence and lab results. Prosecutor Chris Berhalter remarked that the case may not be ready by July.

Trial could take place August or September.

Green is charged with one count aggravated vehicular homicide and one count leaving the scene of an accident where a death took place and failing to report.

Charges stem from an accident occurring Aug. 8, 2012. His next status conference will be held March 1.

He faces a maximum of 11 years.

Charges stem from a hit-and-run death that occurred on National Road, just east of St. Clairsville. Jason Cattane, 31, of Bridgeport was reportedly walking home after attending the funeral of a friend's mother when he was struck and killed.
