BRUNNER, Violet Marie,

She was born at Jacobsburg, Ohio on April 9, 1930 the daughter of Benjamin Carl and Ada M. Lippencott Williams.

Violet was Owner/Operator of the former Violet's Thread and Thimble at Powhatan Point. She was a member of the Amity United Methodist Church at Steinersville and had served on the Belmont County MRDD Board for 21 years where she was instrumental in securing resident homes and the track facility.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy "Dutch" Brunner; one sister, two brothers and grandchildren, Eric and Jill Baker.

She is survived by her son, Mickey L. Brunner whom she lovingly cared for from infancy to the present; her daughters, Caroline M. "Snooks" Tomlinson (Danny) and Dian Baker (Brady) all of Powhatan Point; grandchildren, Gretchen Wilson, Todd Baker, Heidi (Chris) Brown; and great- grandchildren, Kyile and Garrett Wilson, Colby, Chase and Cooper Brown all of Powhatan Point.

Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, Jacobsburg, Ohio on Tuesday from 2 to 8 p.m. where services will be held Wednesday at noon with Lorna Knight officiating. Burial will follow in Powhatan Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Powhatan Point Volunteer Fire Department.
