HEATH-- Buckeye Local's Nate Kirk settled for a sixth place finish in the Division II Sectional Wrestling Tournament which concluded Saturday at Heath High School.
Kirk had captured a pair of opening round triumphs on Friday but fell to Whitehall-Yearling's Ashden Gibson in a consolation semifinal bout before dropping a 3-1 verdict against Dover's Isaac Hammonds in the fifth place match.
Claymont's Mustangs, boasting four individual champions, won the overall team title, piling up 182 points, with Steubenville Big Red coming in second via 140 tallies.
Big Red's Greg Moray was the 220-pound kingpin, decisioning Columbus Mifflin's Jalen Robinson 7-3 in the title match. Steubenville also produced a pair of district runnerups in 126-pound Anthony Craig and 132-pounder Anthony Parada.
