WINZENREID, M. Ruth

WINZENREID, M. Ruth, 84, of Bellaire, Ohio, died Monday, February 25, 2013, at Belmont Manor Nursing Home, St. Clairsville.

She was born in Armstrongs Mills, on July 28, 1928, daughter of the late Clarence Forest Phillips and Flora Agnes Piper Phillips.

Ruth was a homemaker, and former employee of G.C. Murphy in Bellaire. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of the Centerville Christian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Winzenreid Sr.; a son, Chuck Winzenreid; a brother, Roger Phillips; and a sister, Dorothy Ragase.

Surviving are a son, Ronald Winzenreid of Bellaire; three daughters, Shirley (Tom) Stemm of Norwich, Ohio, Debbie (Gregg) Butler of Stow, Ohio and Lisa (Rich) DeNoble of St. Clairsville; a brother, Wayne Phillips of Jacobsburg; two sisters, Ellen Otto of Centerville and Pauline Mahaffey of Cambridge; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grand children.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, OH on Thursday from 2-8 p.m. and again Friday from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jim Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Centerville Christian Church.
