SOUTHWOOD, Raymond Paul Jr., 68, of Hickory, NC formerly of Bellaire, Ohio died Saturday, March 2, 2013 at his home.
He was born July 25, 1944 in Cumberland, MD., a son of the late Raymond Paul Southwood and Doris Clifford Southwood.
He was a 1962 graduate of Bellaire High School and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War serving two tours of duty.
Surviving are his daughter, Doris (Jeff) Ennis of the home; two sons, Raymond (Lori) Southwood III of Glencoe, Ohio, and David Southwood and his fiancee, Michelle of Pittsburgh, PA.; grandchildren, Austin Paul Southwood, Cindy Rae Ennis, Hunter Ray Southwood, and Janie Mae Ennis; sisters, Margaret (Edd) Morris and Olivia (Richard) Gulley of Canton, OH.; his wife of many years and mother of his children, Cindy Southwood of Neffs, OH.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Friday from 5-9 p.m. and on Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. with Major Margaret Morris and Major Richard Gulley officiating.
Inurnment will follow at Arlington National Cemetery.
Full military honors will be provided by the Belmont County VFW Honor Guard at 12:45 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
