WEEKLEY, Charles H. “Brother"

WEEKLEY, Charles H. "Brother," 75, of Bellaire, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, peacefully at the Heartland Lansing Nursing Home.

He was born August 8, 1937, in Bellaire, Ohio, a son of the late Charles E. and Edna P. Newell Weekley.

Brother was a retired coal miner with the Consol Coal Corporation. He was a member of VFW Post 626, Eagles FOE 371 and the Sons of Italy Lodge 754 all of Bellaire, Ohio. He was a longtime camper of the Happy Hollow Camp Grounds. He also severed in the U.S. Navy Reserves.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Earl Johnson.

Brother is survived by his wife of 29 years, Helen Ash Weekley; two sons, Mike (Jolynn) Weekley of Bellaire, Ohio and Bill (Tonya) Weekley of St. Clairsville, Ohio; two daughters, Sue Myers of Bellaire, Ohio and Betty (Scott) Clifford of St. Clairsville, Ohio and two daughters, Theresa (Harry) McCabe of Wheeling, West Virginia and Ronilynn (Keith) Whittington of Powhatan Point, Ohio and two sons, Robert "Pnut" (Mary) Bennington of Wheeling, West Virginia and Steve (Kathy) Belcher of New Mexico and three brothers, Ed (Lil) Weekley and Robert Weekley both of Bellaire, Ohio and William (Catherine) Weekley of St. Clairsville, Ohio. Also 23 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory, 441 37th Street, Bellaire, Ohio on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. with Pastor James Lish officiating.

Interment in the Greenwood Cemetery in Bellaire, Ohio.

The Belmont County Council of the VFW will conduct Full Military Honors on Saturday at 10:45 a.m.
