BARNESVILLE - Mitchell Wells fired a 5-inning complete game as Barnesville throttled visiting Caldwell Thursday afternoon in baseball action at Memorial Park.
Wells struck out three and issued five walks, but only permitted a pair of harmless singles. The Zeps lone run was unearned.
Four different Shamrock hitters had a single and double. David Brown accounted for three RBI with his, while Colton Pritchard and Dylan MacMillan each drove in two with theirs. Austin Hannahs concluded the hit parade.
Barnesville (2-5) treks to Toronto today.

At Sarahsville, the Seminoles (4-6) tallied all of their runs in the final four innings to post the road victory.
Jacob Black led Monroe Central's 10-hit attack with a single and double that plated a run. Tanner Burkhart, who picked up the win in relief of Black, rapped two singles and drove in a run. Peter Frontz also knocked in two runs with two one-base raps. Seth Alleman contributed an RBI double and Kordell Antill singled in a run. He also earned the save.
