AT RICHMOND, Edison exacted some revenge against the invading Purple Riders after being blanked on Monday by posting a 7-2 victory.
In addition to singling in a run Nolan Marcus went the distance and struck out seven to lead Edison (9-2) past Martins Ferry.
Alec Jones and Dylan Glasure paced the Wildcats offense with a pair of RBI each while Brian Straka knocked in another with a single.
Robert Vargo singled in a Purple Riders run and Andrew Chlon had two singles.
Bishop Donahue 11, Beallsville 7
AT MOUNDSVILLE, Chaise Truex earned a victory while hitting a pair of home runs and driving in five to lead Bishop Donahue past Beallsville.
Alex Riedel and Hunter Kaschke had two doubles each for the Bishops (9-6), while Philip Smith and Matt Vucelik evenly divided four singles.
Logan Nipper singled twice for the Blue Devils (3-8), who scored all of their runs in the fourth. John Dietrich doubled.
Linsly 6, Bridgeport 4
AT WHEELING, Jameson Murry did a little bit of everything as Linsly kept it's strong season going by getting the better of Bridgeport.
Murry struck out six in as many innings of work, but also singled three times and doubled as the Cadets (13-2) banged out 10 hits. Logan Goodnight also had a big bat with a single, double and two RBI.
Bailey McGrath (RBI single) and QJ Williams (two singles) paved the way for the Bulldogs.
River 19, Caldwell 2
AT?SARDIS, Monica Curtis and Rosie Romick combined for 10 strikeouts in five innings, with the latter also registering a double, single and three RBI as River (10-5) routed Caldwell (2-9).
Mikayla Cieszeski added three RBI for the Pilots while Mackenzie Marshall had two. Gabby Goudy and Rachael Hutchison knocked in one each.
Wheeling Park 8, St. Clairsville 0
AT WHEELING, Carly Greer struck out four and also doubled as part of a 10-hit attack as Wheeling Park (15-4) blanked St. Clairsville.
Marissa Tucker had three hits including a triple for the Patriots, while Kelsi Johnson singled and doubled.
Lauren Figura took the loss, striking out two.
Shadyside 20, Conotton Valley 0
AT SHADYSIDE, the Lady Tigers struck early and often en route to a convincing 20-0 victory against invading Conotton Valley Wednesday afternoon.
Megan Heagney was impressive once again in the circle, allowing just one innocent hit. At the plate, she had a home run and a double.
Hayley Holenka had a single and a double, while Kenzie Fielding had two singles. Lindsey Dunn had a double.
