ST. CLAIRSVILLE - It was a weekend to celebrate in St. Clairsville for the owners and staff of Thomas Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram.
The family owned dealer, now under its fourth generation of ownership, moved into its new location at 67791 Mall Road in late November of purchasing the facility in 2011.

promotions all day long on Saturday, including free good, giveaways and giant discounts on the Valley's leading selection of Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram Vehicles.
The this the third location for the Thomas dealership since it opened its first locale at 301 S. Market St. in St. Clairsville 95 years ago.
Each move has been in upgrade in size and scope, a trend that speaks volumes about the longevity and success of the Thomas' family business model.
"This building is more than 40,000 square feet. The old building was 23,000 and the first was probably around 10,000," said Robert Thomas, co-owner of Thomas Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram. "Brian (Thomas) and I won't be retiring anytime soon.
This was a huge upgrade for the Thomas family as they made extensive renovations to the former Roomful Express furniture store, with both customers and employees in mind.
The service portion of the facility features 12 large bays for customers to pull their vehicles into. There, they are met by the service manager, who escorts the customer/s into a lounge area with plenty of entertainment, for both young and old, while they wait. Should the customers choose to wish to shop or dine, they can be shuttled by Thomas' employees across the roadway to the mall.
The are male and female bathrooms in the service garage, complete with showers. There are two lift bays per tech, doubling the available work space.
M&G Architects & Engineers designed the renovation of the building, which took about a year to complete. Furniture for the offices was provided by Kelly's Suite II Ltd. in St. Clairsville, while the dealership's new computers came from the Technology Services Group in Wheeling.
Walters Construction handled the groundwork of the project. Going local was an important point for Thomas, noting he wanted to keep local people working and his reward was a fantastic remodeling and construction project.
Members of the sales staff at Thomas noted customers have been streaming in since the move, taking note of the new amenities, along with the dealership's extensive offerings including the all-new Dodge Dart and the 10th anniversary edition of the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 4x4.
The staff, much like the dealership's square footage, has also grown, expanding from 22 to 32 employees since the move.
