SCHRUM, Harry L. 86, of St. Clairsville, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013, at Liza's Place.
He was born May 11, 1926, in Bellaire, son of the late Julius L. Schrum and Ruth Wright Schrum.
He was a member of St. Clairsville Church of Christ and American Legion Post 312, Belmont. Harry was a machinist and retired from R & F Coal Company. He was a very skilled and gifted woodworker.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Jane Schrum and brothers, Jim Schrum and Frank Schrum.
Harry is survived by his sons, Dan (Debbie) Schrum of Granville, Ohio and Bob (Lynn) Schrum of St. Clairsville; grandchildren, Dana (Erik) McLaughlin of Bournemouth, England, Matthew Schrum of St. Clairsville, Andrew Schrum of Jackson, Wyoming, and Brad (Amanda) Schrum of St. Clairsville; and great- grandson, Ethan McLaughlin of Bournemouth, England.
Family and friends are welcome to visit, Wednesday from 4-8 p.m., Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio, where the service will be conducted, Thursday at 10 a.m. Everett Hutson will be officiating.
Interment will follow at Belmont Cemetery, Belmont, Ohio.
Military honors will be conducted by American Legion Post #312, Belmont, Thursday at 9:45 a.m. at the funeral home.
