BASHLINE, John Quincy

God saw you were getting tired

And a cure was not meant to be,

So he put His arms around you

And whispered "come to me."

On Thursday, May 16, 2013, John Quincy Bashline of East Palestine, Ohio, formerly of Flushing, Ohio, lost his 20-month battle with cancer.

John was born on October 27, 1963 and was the son of Dr. John D. and Barb Bashline and Mary Ruth Geiger Miquelon.

He was the previous office assistant for Body Balance and driver for Hill Trux, Inc.

John leaves behind his wife, Trish Bashline, children; John Quincy, Romen, Kyle, Sierra Dawn, Joshua and Britnay, Tim and Ashly. Also grandchildren; Kodi, Konner, Naomi, Danny and Kyden, brothers; Wade Bashline, Dr. Shane Bashline and Josey Bashline as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

John's wife would like to thank the staff of Hospice of the Valley, St. Joe's Cancer Center, Warren and most of all, Dr. Tim Barriero and staff.

Friends will be received Saturday, May 18, 2013, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Home & Crematory, 204 West Main St., St. Clairsville, Ohio, where funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. with Dr. John D. Bashline officiating.
