On busy Friday afternoons, the Buds often resort to their favorite on-the-go dinner: pizza.
Last week, such an occasion arose giving the Buds the perfect opportunity to try out recently opened Papa D's Pizza in St. Clairsville.
David Crosby officially opened the shop the first week of April at 52171 National Rd. East in St. Clairsville - a location that can cater to the traffic traveling on US 40 and the surrounding hotels and businesses.

For salad lovers they offer large and small salads topped with cheese, green pepper, tomato, cucumber, black olives, green olives and pepperoni. Choice of meats can also be added to make it a chef salad.
For those who prefer subs Papa D's makes steak, Italian, chicken, meatball, turkey and veggie.
Bud Em picked up a mushroom calzone and a pepperoni roll to take home for the kiddo and was pleased that both came with plenty of tasty pizza sauce for dipping. The calzone, which rang in at $5.75 was loaded with mushrooms and LOTS of gooey cheese. The tasty treat was the perfect dinner. Bud Em's daughter - a true pepperoni roll connoisseur - didn't hesitate to gobble up the $3.75 delight. Both gals really liked the tasty pizza dough and sauce.
Bud Shaunna decided to give the pizza a try and ordered two slices of cheese and pepperoni pizza at 95 cents each. The thin crust slices had plenty of cheese and pepperoni with crispy edges - the Buds love that! - and were quite tasty. Bud Shaunna was especially fond of the sauce. In addition, she also took home an order of the small bread sticks with cheese for $2.75. These were soft and garlicy and smothered with gooey cheese - the perfect compliment to the pizza. Even reheated in the toaster oven the next night, these bread sticks were still delicious.
Papa D's is open seven days a week with hours ranging from Monday - Thursday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday- Saturday 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. and open on Sunday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. They have a $10 minimum required for deliveries.
