COSS, John F., age 80, of Hannibal, Ohio, died Saturday, June 8, 2013, at his residence.

He was born on January 19, 1933 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a son of the late M. Willard and Josephine M. Martz Coss.

John was a retired Millwright from the former Conalco Aluminum, Hannibal; a U.S. Air Force veteran serving during the Korean War; a faithful member of St. Ann's Episcopal Church, New Martinsville, WV; lifetime member of both the V.F.W. Post 9930, Duffy, Ohio and the American Legion Post 760, Hannibal where he was very active with the Honor Guard and was a longtime American Red Cross blood donor.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Natalie Jones Coss; two sisters: Eileen Hrusovsky and Veda Albrecht.

Survivors include three daughters: Laura (Alex) Dezubay of Bethlehem Park, PA; Sylvia (Bruce) Brackbill of Cranberry Twp., PA and Natalie (Bryan) Fox of Fairmont, WV; six grandchildren: Heidi (Ben) Cain, Lauretta Dezubay, Stephanie Brackbill, John Fox, Megan Fox and Kathleen Dezubay.

Friends will be received at the Grisell Funeral Home, 751 Third St., New Martinsville from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Ann's Episcopal Church, 453 Maple Ave., New Martinsville with Richard Heller officiating. Military honors by American Legion Post 760 will be held immediately following the service.

Interment will be in the Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain, Ohio.
