Sour Grapes

July 9, 2013

Dear Editor,

I am a registered Democrat, but I don't always vote party lines. The issues concerning the recent sheriff's election should have been addressed during the timeliness allowed. Sheriff Lucas was approved and he received the majority of votes.

I don't believe that the votes cast for Lucas should be ignored.

If the other candidate wins this legal battle, then that means our votes don't count. I find that possibility unacceptable. If that becomes the end result, we should get to vote again!

Sincerely,

Carol A. Fulst
