KIGERL, Phyllis Faye, 87, of Bellaire, died Thursday morning July 18, 2013, at the New Albany Care Center in Columbus, Ohio.
She was born April 13, 1926, in Bellaire, the daughter of the late Robert and Anna Fay Shallcross Fitch.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack J. Kigerl in 1964; brothers, Carl, Ralph, and Glenn Fitch; and a sister, Joann Fitch.
Surviving are two children, Jack J. (Jeanne) Kigerl, of St. Clairsville, and Pamela (John) Mountain of Bellaire; her brother, Robert Dale (Betty) Fitch resides in Port St. Lucie, FL
Phyllis is also survived by four grandchildren, Emily Heithaus, Katie Halenar, Amy Gasber and Kristina Fisher. There are eight great-grandchildren, Brody, Griffin, and Ashleigh Halenar, Calvin Heithaus; Jack, Drew, and Emma Gasber, and Sophie Fisher.
Friends will be received Friday July 19, from 5-8 p.m. at the Bauknecht- Altmeyer Funeral Home and Crematory, 441 37th St., Bellaire, and Saturday July 20 from noon until 12:45 p.m.
Funeral Liturgy Outside of Mass will be held at 1 p.m. at St. John Catholic Church in Bellaire with Fr. Daniel Heusel officiating.
Interment will follow at Davis Cemetery. Bellaire.
