ADENA - An early evening rain storm Wednesday produced flash flooding in the village of Adena.

The creek spilled up and onto the roadways, flooding the roads on the western end of town.

The underpass at Blairmont Rd. was flooded and impassable for a time.

Houses on Hanna Ave. and Buckeye St. both experienced basement flooding after roughly 2 inches of rain fell during a span of 30 minutes shortly after 5 p.m.

A power line fell near Braun's Auto Sales at the intersection of W. Main and Roski Sts., knocking out power.

Crews from American Electric Power arrived on the scene to fix the issue around 8 p.m.
