PORTER, Ronald Lee, age 84, of Bellaire, OH died Wednesday, August 7, 2013 in Bellaire.
He was born September 21, 1928 in Bellaire, the son of the late William M. and Anabel Myler Porter.
He was a U.S. Army Artillery Veteran, having served in the Korean War; a Methodist by faith; a member of Bellaire VFW; and Bellaire Eagles; was an avid Bellaire Big Reds Fan, and Cleveland Browns Fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Kenneth, Floyd, Ivan, and his twin brother, Donald Porter; and four sisters, Alberta Maizlik, June Arnold, Irene Brutchey, and Eunice Porter.
Survivors include eight nieces, Janet (Eugene) Hood, Martha (Bob) Thoroholt, Donna (Rich) Frances, Yvonne (John) Bethel, Eunice (Dave) Weatherholt, Denise Edwards, and Donna Yocum and Kathy Doan; seven nephews, Danny Porter, Bill (Barb) Heath, Ronald Maizlik, Wayne Porter, Frank (Kathy) Arnold, Jack (Anne) Arnold, and Howard Porter; several great-nieces and nephews; and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Sunday from noon-3 and 6-8 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home, 400 33rd St., Bellaire where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Rusty Johnston officiating.
Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Bellaire.
