FOOTBALL

AUSTIN DORRIS, Shadyside-Ran the ball 18 times for 167 yards and two TDs in the Tigers' win over Shadyside. He also completed one pass for 45 yards and a TD.

CHRIS LITTELL, Shadyside-Carried the leather 13 times for 82 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Also caught a pass for 45 yards and six points.

ZACH MEADOWS, COREY BANCO, JACOB SPENCER, HUNTER HAMMOND and COLTON CAMPBELL, Shadyside-This group of offensive linemen did yeoman's work against Bellaire as the Tigers ran the ball 55 times for 420 yards and six TDs.

BRUCE SEFERT, Beallsville-Did a little bit of everything in victory at Paden City as he ran the ball 14 times for 79 yards and two touchdowns. He also caught a pass for 20 yards and ran for a pair of two-point conversions. Defensively, he charted two quarterback sacks, one solo stop and two assists. He also recorded a tackle for minus yardage.

CHASE MERCER, Beallsville-Completed 11 of 17 passes for 130 yards and two touchdowns. Charted four tackles, two of which were solo stops.

DALTON SECREST, Beallsville-Was a force on both sides of the ball as he made five unassisted tackles, assisted on four others. He also charted a trio of quarterback sacks and had two tackles for minus yardage. Offensively, he graded out at 95 percent on blocking.

MIKE PALMER, Beallsville-Caught six passes for 61 yards and six points. On defense he returned a fumble 16 yards for a TD and had two assisted tackles. He also ran one kickoff back 14 yards and returned three punts for an average of 32.3 yards.

SPENCER BADIA, Bellaire-Tossed four touchdowns on 16 of 27 that went for 275 yards in loss to Shadyside.

NICK PATRONE, Bellaire-Landed six passes for 137 yards and two touchdowns.

DEVON HENNESSEY, St. John Central-Caught four passes for 78 yards and two touchdowns in setback to Strasburg.

PATRICK BRITTON, Bridgeport-Had a dozen tackles in loss to Caldwell, with two being behind the line of scrimmage.

TRAVIS PONTIUS, Buckeye Trail-He ran wild in a win against Frontier last week as he carried the leather 44 times for 234 yards and a pair of scores.

ERIC FLOWERS, Martins Ferry-Lugged the leather 16 times for 105 yards and completed 10 of 14 passes for 186 yards and two touchdowns in win over Linsly.

BRYAN STYLES, Martins Ferry-Excelled on both sides of the ball as he charted three tackles, broke up two passes and intercepted another. Offensively, he carried seven times for 51 yards.

CURTIS NIXON, Monroe Central-Had six completions for 112 yards and a touchdown in blowout of River. Also carried the ball nine times for 50 yards.

BRYAN DUFFY, Monroe Central-Caught three passes for 40 yards, including a touchdown. Also had an interception on defense.

ZACH JORRIS, Monroe Central-Caught two passes for 58 yards and picked off a pass on defense.

MIKE JONES, Monroe Central-Wreaked havoc all over the field from his linebacker slot where he charted 11 tackles, sacked the quarterback once and made a pair of stops for lost yards.

CORDELL GAUDING, Monroe Central-Had 7.5 tackles, a half a quarterback sack and 2.5 tackles behind the line.

MICHAEL FERNS, St. Clairsville-Michigan recruit made 12 solo tackles, assisted on three others, broke up a pass and caused a fumble in win over Renaissance Christian Academy. Offensively, he ran the ball 12 times for 89 yards and a touchdown. He also caught a 19-yard pass.

JAYLON BROWN, St. Clairsville-Lugged the leather 25 times for 144 yards and scored three touchdowns. Defensively, he picked off a pass, broke another up and had a tackle for lost yardage.

COLBY LINDSAY and JOHN BLAND, St. Clairsville-Both of these offensive linemen graded out at 86 percent.

BEN COLEMAN, St. Clairsville-Had seven tackles, two assists, a tackle behind the line of scrimmage, caused a fumble and recovered a fumble.

MASON FRIEDE, Union Local-Charted 10 solo tackles, four assists and a tackle for minus yardage in win at Buckeye Local.
