JOHNSON, Harold W. Jr., 70, of Flushing, died Monday, September 23, 2013 in the Veterans Administration Healthcare System, Pittsburgh, Pa.
He was born in Martins Ferry on October 7, 1942, a son of the late Harold W. Johnson Sr. and Marjorie Anderson Johnson.
Harold was a retired heavy equipment operator for Cravat Coal Co., a member of the Rock Hill Baptist Church, Flushing, and a U.S.Army Veteran.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, was his wife, Jolene Imer Johnson.
Surviving are one daughter, Kristina Johnson, Flushing; a son, Harold, Lewisville, Ohio; two sisters, Brenda White of New Philadelphia and Karen S. Johnson of Flushing; two grandchildren: Chantell Navarro and Jaron Johnson.
Burial will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville, Pa. Friends will be received at Warren Funeral Home, Flushing, from noon until time of memorial service at 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, with Pastor Robert Merritt officiating.
