PATT, Robert A. Jr., 82, of Shadyside, Ohio died Thursday, October 3, 2013 at the Forest Hill Retirement Community in St. Clairsville, Ohio.
He was born November 11, 1930 in Bellaire, Ohio a son of the late Robert A, Sr. and Margaret Bass Patt.
He was a retired steelworker for the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation's Martins Ferry Mill and a member of the American Legion Post 521 in Shadyside, Ohio. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Clara C. Pytlak Patt on February 18, 2010.
Surviving are his children, Belinda (Bill) Probert of Prosper, Texas, Corky (Diane) Patt of Shadyside, Ohio and Sheri (Brook) Warren of Prosper, Texas; and one sister, Virginia "Ginny" Willis of Shadyside, Ohio. Also six grandchildren, Brian Probert, Stacy (BJ) Wendling, Jennifer (Wes) Kobel, Stacie Patt, Ashley Warren and Anthony Warren and three great grandchildren, Alexis Grace Seszko, Parker Wendling and Piper Wendling.
Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3900 Central Avenue, Shadyside, Ohio on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of services at noon.
Interment in the Belmont County Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Clairsville, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Schiffler Cancer Center, 1 Medical Park, Wheeling, West Virginia 26003.
American Legion services will be conducted on Saturday at 11:45 a.m.
