Macy’s set for expansion unveiling

ST. CLAIRSVILLE - Macy's Ohio Valley has completed a refresh of the store in order to provide a superior shopping experience for its shoppers with expanded merchandise assortments throughout the building The refreshed 87,000 sq. foot store offers an assortment of merchandise for women, men and children as well as home furnishings.

The refresh includes new flooring, wall treatments, paint and accent lighting. The newly expanded women's shoe department, which is now approximately double its previous size, brings an expanded assortment in all brands including Sperry, Nine West, Anne Klein, Clarks, Born, and more. In the handbags department, new pop-up shops feature designers such as Michael Kors, Coach, and Ralph Lauren. Women's apparel has deepened its offerings of Calvin Klein merchandise, INC Sportswear in misses and petites, Alfani in women's plus sizes, as well as a wider selection of dresses and suits. Popular cosmetic lines including Estee Lauder, Clinique, Lanc?me, Elizabeth Arden, and Shiseido will be housed in a new and brightly lit setting. Men's and young men's apparel has been enhanced with a new active and millennial shop featuring well-known brands like Under Armour and Nike.

The children's department has also added Under Armour activewear for boys and both Nike and Puma for girls.

Through Macy's popular Search & Send program, any item not readily available in the store can be ordered from the company's online inventory at any point of sale terminal.

Throughout the store, Macy's will feature the brands that its customers have come to expect INC, Alfani, Martha Stewart Collection, Tommy Hilfiger, Polo Ralph Lauren, Levi's to name a few.

Macy's Ohio Valley will also host a special Community Shopping Evening benefiting the Tri County Help Center. From 5-7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, Macy's will donate 10 percent of proceeds from sales up to $2,000 to the Tri County Help Center.

An assortment of special events are also planned on Saturday, starting with a gift card giveaway to the first 200 customers that come through the mall doors at store opening.

Also, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., learn the latest color and treatment tips from the experts. Customers can have their makeup done by a professional artist. Receive a free red pashmina as a gift with any $100 cosmetics purchase.
