CUSTER, Stanley, 84, of Barnesville died on Wednesday.
He was born on February 9, 1929 to the late Alva E. Custer and Goldie E. (Griffith) Custer.
He worked in Wooster at Borgewarner and Company from 1953 until he retired in 1986.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Chloe A. (Harris) Custer; son, Stanley Paul Custer; and two grandchildren: David Custer and Michelle Doudna.
He is survived by his children: Candince (Bob) Freeman of New Philadelphia, Victoria (Leslie) Doudna of Barnesville, Winifred (Eddie) Stavley of Cambridge, Jennifer (Mike) Davis of Bolivar and Charity (Mark) Hockenberry of New Philadelphia; 12 grandchildren: Bobby and Linda Freemna, Sara Dunlap, Tina Gyles, Trinity Majoris, Holly Sheene, Daniel and Katie Stavely, Alexandria and Justin Davis, Anthony (Angie) Hockenberry and Cory (Ranea) Hockenberry; 13 great-grandchildren; and sister, Carla Jeanne Goudy of Loudonville.
Visitation Saturday from 9:30 until the service at 10 a.m. at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio 43713. Burial will be at Grandview Union Cemetery in Strasburg, Ohio on Saturday at 1 p.m.
