Bridgeport resident stabbed outside of home

BRIDGEPORT -- A Bridgeport resident was attacked and stabbed by two males outside their 203 Kennon St., home at 4:30 a.m. today.

The victim was in an unattached garage when the attack took place.

The victim was treated for a couple of stab wounds, said Lieutenant Jerry Delman of the Bridgeport Police Department.

According to Delman, the two suspects, one white and one black, left the scene on foot. One suspect was wearing a Carhartt-type jacket while the other was wearing a puffy-style coat.

The incident is under investigation. Responding departments included Bridgeport Police Department, Bellaire Police Department, Martins Ferry Police and the Belmont County Sheriff's Department.
