CONAWAY, Jack Faye Jr. 62, of Bellaire, Ohio, died Monday, December 30, 2013 at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV.
Jack was born September 18, 1951 in Bellaire, Ohio, a son of Mary Ann Palkovich and the late Jack Faye Conaway Sr.
Preceding him in death was a daughter, Vicki Gibbons in 2010.
Surviving are two daughters; Amy (Clinton) Schaefer of Wilmington, N.C., and Jacqulyn Conaway of Bellaire, Ohio, his mother, Mary Ann Palkovich Conaway of Bellaire, Ohio, the love of his life, Debbie Cordery of Bellaire, Ohio, step-daughters, Missy and Brandy Conaway, three brothers, Randy (Sandy) Conaway, Gary (Teri) Conaway and Dennis (Vicki) Conaway all of Bellaire, Ohio, three sisters, Valorie Griffin of Bellaire, Ohio, Sherri (Jeff) Schrum of Cherryville, N.C. and Wendy (Robert) Newhart of Shadyside, Ohio, several grandchildren including, Kayla, Amber, Jenna and Haley Gibbons, Caitlin Schaefer and Destiny Jeffreys, many nieces and nephews.
Jack was employed at the Pennsylvania Macaroni Company Pittsburgh, Pa. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bellaire where he served as head of Trustees and was active with his church family. He was a member of the Bellaire Eagles and was an avid golfer and bowler.
Family and friends will be received Thursday, January 2, 2014 from 39 p.m.at the Bauknecht- Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, OH.
Friends then received on Friday, January 3, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church, 3402 Guernsey Street, Bellaire, OH, from 9 a.m. until time of funeral service at 10 a.m. with Reverend Sheryl Seitz officiating.
Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
