Warren named Mead trustee

January 8, 2014
Times Leader

SHADYSIDE Gregg Warren has been appointed as a Mead Township trustee to fill an unexpired term.

Warren, who served as a trustee from 1990 through 1993, was appointed by Trustees Ed Good and Dave Mellott. He replaces Roger Lewis, who recently stepped down.

"I appreciate the appointment and the trust the other trustees have in me to help them with township matters. Finances have gotten tighter over the years and a concerted effort is needed to balance the budget while providing the best services as possible to our residents," said Warren.

"I also believe that Roger Lewis was an outstanding trustee during his 20 years of service. His knowledge and his ability to get things accomplished made a positive difference in the township. He deserves our thanks."

Warren did not run for re-election in 1993.

Prior to that term, he served a Shadyside councilman. He can be contacted at 304-312-7923.

Warren is employed as a vice president at Wheeling Hospital.
