Times Leader

A former Barnesville police officer is one of two men accused of raping a mentally disabled woman, officials said today. The suspects, who are both from Barnesville, are facing rape and gross sexual imposition charges. Officials confirmed one of the suspects is Gary Stephen, who lost his job as a Barnesville police officer in the 1990s after he was convicted then of gross sexual imposition. Stephen is currently the Barnesville VFW post commander, according to Barnesville Police Chief David Norris.
