He was born March 20, 1931, in Ohio County, a son of the late John T. and Mary Waterson Gray.
Leo was a retired employee of St. Clairsville City Street Department, US Army Korean War veteran and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Leo was preceded in death by his wife, Violet Loy Gray, and his brother, Edward Gray.
Surviving are his two children, Thomas M. Gray of Dillonvale and Judy Kyer of St. Clairsville, his grandchildren, Curtis (Brenda) Kyer, Alicia (Bill) LaRue, Justin, (Taylor) Gray and Scott (Morgan) Gray, six great-grand children, Mason, Ethan, and Sarah Kyer, Alex and Chloe LaRue and Carter Gray, his brother, Jim, (Betty) Gray and his special friend, Nora Regoli.
Friends are invited to attend Leo's memorial service which will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, at the Emmanuel Baptist Church beginning with Military Funeral Rites provided by the Belmont County Council of the American Legion and the officiated by Pastor Gary Eller.
Memorial contributions may be made in Leo's name to the Emmanuel Baptist Church Baptistery Fund.
