Studio Red raises money for Autism

MARTINS FERRY - Studio Red, located at 10 S. Fourth St., will be holding a fund-raising event to raise awareness and money for autism.

Studio?Red will hold it on two days in April where all proceeds go to Autism Speaks. On April 6 is for anybody that is on the autism spectrum and April 27 is for anybody else who wants to make a donation. April 6 is by appointment only and walk-ins are welcomed on April 27.

"We all know somebody that is autistic or have children that are autistic and a few of us have kids that are one the spectrum and it is such an epidemic, it's so common," Shawn Angus from Studio Red.

Studio Red opened on Sept. 25 and have done several other fund raisers. Recently, they donated their time at Bridgeport school and gave free hair cuts to children in need.
