UHRICHSVILLE - Sophomore point guard Daniel Trouten had a strong debut in the post season as he paced St. Clairsville with 20 points in an outflanking maneuver which defeated the Generals of Ridgewood 71-45 in the opening round of Division III sectionals at Claymont.

"We were a little rusty at the start," Red Devil head coach Kim Clifford said.

Ridgewood would not have agreed after it saw St. Clairsville score the first ten points of the contest before the Generals got onto the scoreboard.
