KALINOWSKI, Leo E., 67, of Lansing, Ohio, died Friday, March 21, 2014 at his home.
He was born December 12, 1946, in Neffs, Ohio, the son of the late Joseph and Susan McMullan Kalinowski.
Leo was a retired teacher at St. Clairsville-Richland School District Middle School where he taught math. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wolfhurst, and was a member of the Ohio Retired Teachers Association and the Farm Bureau.
In addition to his parents he was preceded by two brothers, Sonny and James Kalinowski.
Surviving are his wife, whom he married June 8, 1968, Sharon Hanson Kalinowski; three children, David (Barb) Kalinowski, of Galloway, Ohio, Lori (Jay) Tubaugh, of Newark, Ohio, and James (Selena) Kalinowski, of Cincinnati, Ohio; five sisters, Mary (Bernard) Gerdau of Bellaire, Susan (James) Aukley, of West Lafayette, In. Jane Wilson of Fl. Elizabeth (Bob) Good and Barbara (Jake) McFarland all of Bellaire. Five grandchildren complete the family including Jarrod Kalinowski, Peyton Tubaugh, Kaitlyn Tubaugh, Nikhil Kalinowski, and Amrita Kalinowski.
Friends will be received Monday, March 24th from 6-8 p.m. at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home and Crematory, 441 37h Street, Bellaire.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wolfhurst with Fr. John Mucha officiating.
Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Bellaire.
