MORRISTOWN - Union Local swept a pair of girls' softball games from visiting Buckeye Trail Saturday afternoon at Lynn Hunkler Park.
The Jets (3-2) won the first game 5-3 before taking the nightcap by a 8-3 count.
In the opener, UL trailed 3-1 heading into the bottom of the sixth, but a 4-run uprising led to the victory. Ali Delaney's two-run single to right-center with one out tied the game at three. After Amanda Swallie was walked, Madie Schafer, who fouled off four straight pitches, drove a shot to deep left that not only went off the fielder's glove, but also bounced off the yellow fence topping and over the fence for the eventual game-winning home run.
Schafer picked up the win with five strikeouts and three walks. She gave up seven hits.
The Jets completed their sweep as they struck for five runs in the bottom of the first and never looked back.
Schafer's 2-run double off the fence in left-center sparked the early outburst. Freshman Morgan Edwards singled home a run and finished with two base knocks, while classmates Bailey Lohr (2) and Katelynn Clark-Patterson (1) combined for three ribbies. Swallie chipped in a double.
Lohr struck out five, walked three and gave up seven hits in picking up her first career win.
Bridgeport 10, Cameron 0
At Brookside, the Bulldogs completed their doubleheader sweep of the visiting Dragons Saturday afternoon on Niekro Diamond as juniors Parker Dyson and Bailey McGrath combined on a 4-hit shutout.
Dyson, a lanky southpaw, struck out four and walked the same. He yielded four singles in picking up the win. McGrath came on in the fifth and slammed the door with a pair of strikeouts.
Q.J. Williams led Bridgeport's 15-hit attack with a single, two doubles and an RBI. Patrick Britton added a single, double and RBI, while Carlos Kusic had two base raps and a run batted in. Bailey Sieber knocked in the game-ending run with a single in the sixth inning.
The Bulldogs are now 5-0.

At Glen Dale, the Jets dropped a pair of games on Monarch Diamond Saturday.
The hosts received a pair of solid pitching performances from Trevor Hardesty and Schuyler Callihan in earning the sweep.
Eric Dunfee struck out eight and walked two for UL. However, ge yielded 11 base hits.
Griffey Girty had a double for the Jets.
In the second game, JM tallied six times in the home half of the sixth inning to pull out the victory.
Shane Smolenak had two singles and Girty another two-bagger for UL.
