SHIANNE NAMETH, Harrison Central. Only a sophomore, she smacked four home runs, two doubles and a pair of singles as the Huskies went 2-1 on the week. She drove in 12 runs, including 10 in a doubleheader sweep of Buckeye Trail.
MEGAN HEAGNEY, Shadyside. A junior hurler, she fanned 44 batters in three outings. Included in those totals were an eye-popping 21 in an 11-inning loss to Ferry, in which she also a double and home run. She followed that effort up with an 8-inning, 1-0, shutout of Bridgeport when she fanned 13, singled and doubled. She also notched 10Ks against Conotton Valley and drove in three runs with two singles and a double.
LINDSEY DUNN, Shadyside. A sophomore catcher, she had two singles and three doubles during the week that produced three runs.
KATIE HEATH, Shadyside. Just a freshman, she cracked out four singles and a triple to plate three runs.
KARLY KLUG, Shadyside. Another promising frosh, she had four hits, including two doubles.
DALLAS MESSENGER, Bellaire. This Big Reds' junior had eight singles in a twinbill sweep of Caldwell.
DAPHNE CLARK, Bellaire. A junior, she fanned 10 in a win over Caldwell.
SYDNEY RALSTON, Barnesville. A sophomore, she knocked in four runs and singled three times against Beallsville.
SHAYE DeLEONARDIS, Martins Ferry. Another promising sophomore, she had a big week inside the circle and on the mound for the Purple Riders. She won all four games and outdueled Heagney in the marathon win over Shadyside. She had a 3-hitter and a 4-hitter, while also singling seven times to drive in four runs.
TYRAH KING, Martins Ferry. This 10th grader singled three times, doubled, homered and knocked in three runs.
KRISSY HOTLOSZ, Martins Ferry. She drove in five runs from the No. 9 hole as the Purple Gang went unbeaten during the week.
MIRANDA BOWERS, Bridgeport. Only a freshman, she is making a name for herself early on in her career. In five games, she had nine singles and drove in seven runs. She was also the winning pitcher in three of the contests.
HANNAH ABSALOM, St. John Central. This senior had a superb two games against Bishop Donahue. She was 2-0 inside the circle, striking out 17 while throwing 2- and 3-hitters. She also doubled twice and homered for five RBI.
MONICA CURTIS, River. This junior dandy had a great week inside the circle. She authored her second career no-hitter against Paden City, then followed that up with a 1-hit shutout of Frontier. She was also the winning pitcher against Shenandoah.
HAYLEE BOWERS, River. A hard-hitting junior, she cracked out three singles, a double, two triples and drove in seven runs.
KIERSTYN CZUCHRAN, Buckeye Local. Another hard-hitting junior, she six singles, a home run and four runs batted in during the week as the Panthers captured their own Invitational.
MORGAN STATEN, Buckeye Local. A senior, she picked up her first varsity mound win in the semifinals against Meadowbrook, striking out five and not walking a batter. She had a huge triple and two outstanding defensive plays in the championship game win over John Marshall, including a diving grab with the bases-loaded and two outs that ended the game.
SUMMER GALLENTINE, St. Clairsville. A senior, she collected five singles and drove in four runs in a doubleheader sweep of Steubenville.
LAUREN FIGURA, St. Clairsville. Another senior standout, she doubled three times and singled twice to plate five runs for the Red Devils.
DUSTIN REDISH, Harrison Central. Redish fanned 11 batters and twirled a one-hitter for the Huskies against Indian Creek. Against Martins Ferry, he had two singles and an RBI.
ERIC BANAL, Buckeye Local. Banal laced two singles and drove in two runs in the Panthers' game against Harrison Central.
NICK STATEN, Harrison Central. Staten doubled, singled and plated three as Harrison Central took care of Buckeye Local in five innings.
MALIK GUMMER, St. Clairsville. The Red Devils speedster ran his way to two triples against Union Local.
LUKE NARDO, Shadyside. Nardo slapped three singles for the Tigers against Barnesville.
LOGAN SCHULTZ, Barnesville. Schulltz had three singles and three RBI against Shadyside.
JACOB KEISER, Barnesville. Keiser doubles and plated three runs for the Shamrocks against Shadyside. Against West Muskingum, he slapped four singles.
TYLER WEST, Bellaire. West laced two singles, a double and knocked in a run vs. Martins Ferry.
GARRETT TRUDO, Martins Ferry. Trudo came through with two singles and two RBI against Barnesville.
QJ WILLIAMS, Bridgeport. Williams had three singles and a double against Shadyside, then collected a double, single and two RBI vs. River.
BAILEY McGRATH, Bridgeport. McGrath had two doubles and two RBI against River.
ROBERT VARGO, Martins Ferry. Vargo exploded for four singles, a double and five RBI as the Purple Riders swept Harrison Central.
COLTON CAMPBELL, Shadyside. Campbell belted a double and two singles vs. Barnesville.
TYLER RAMSAY, Bellaire. Ramsay recorded three singles and two RBI against Martins Ferry.
JONATHAN BORKOSKI, Buckeye Local. Borkoski doubled, singled and drove in two runs vs. Union Local.
HUNTER WESTLAKE, Bellaire. Westlake doubled, singled and plated three runs as part of Bellaire's power surge at Martins Ferry.
ANDREW HADZIMA Bridgeport. Hadzima had two singles, three RBI and a run as Bridgeport took the first of two against Paden City.
CHAD ALLEMAN, Monroe Central. Alleman homered, slapped three singles and drove in three runs as the Seminoles topped Barnesville.

AUSTIN KEMP, Union Local. Junior pole vaulter claimed the title at the Shadyside Relays.
AYLA STEWART, St. Clairsville. Senior speedster won both the 100 and 200 meter dashes at the Shadyside Relays.
JAYLON BROWN, St. Clairsville. Senior blur captured the 100 and 200 meter dash crowns at the Shadyside Relays.
JACK FITCH, BRIAN STYLES, HUNTER HILL, ANDREW WATTS, Martins Ferry. Purple Rider speedsters teamed for the 4x1, 4x2 and 4x4 titles at the Shadyside Relays.
RIKKI ALLEN, Martins Ferry. Senior won the pole vault crown at the Shadyside Relays.
BRIANA MASSEY, Bridgeport. Junior won the long jump title at the Shadyside Relays.
ABBY CALDWELL, River. Sophomore captured the 300 hurdles title at the Shadyside Relays.
